| Customer Reviews: Perfect for the Beauty Therapist who wishes to specialise in Semi-Permanent Makeup treatments! September 14, 2008 Pro Beauty Education (UK) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This book is written by an American author Pamela Hill; a foremost authority in medical aesthetics who was a former nurse. As such; the emphasis of this book is thoroughly grounded in medical aesthetics. An extensive coverage of the fundamentals of Semi-Permanent Makeup procedures makes this is one of the best academic text books available on this subject. It is perfect for the Beauty Therapist aiming to specialise in this field as it places a prominence upon identifying safe treatment protocols and practices. As a lecturer in Beauty Therapy it is hoped that this book will aid in standardising Semi-Permanent Makeup treatments in the U.K. as training in this specialised field is usually only carried out by manufacturers' of Semi-Permanent Makeup products and private training providers.

Very general overview. January 7, 2010 Nail Technician (Arizona) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is just an overview of permanent makeup. It does not cover technique or the actual application of permanent makeup
