| Customer Reviews: Detailed information in easy to understand language September 28, 2009 Bay Area Girlie Girl (Oakland, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received my copy of this book and am so happy I bought it! The information will come in handy when discussing peels as an option for clients. Hyperpigmentation, skin texture and suitable skin types are discussed in depth. As another reviewer stated - this book is no substitute for proper training to administer peels but this will definitely serve as a great reference book on the subject. The scope of material also makes this a good buy. It covers other topics like retinols and reactions to hydroquinone. Some of the book is more of a review (basic skin structure) but in context it helps to remind the reader of all variables to consider regarding chemical peels.
Great information for the medical aesthetic office June 11, 2006 S. Cox (TX) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a great book to refresh and add to your knowledge but certainly most of these procedures should not be attempted without specific training or supervision of a physician.
great book for any new esthetician! January 1, 2007 C. Lopez 3 out of 5 found this review helpful

grat book poor shipping September 29, 2008 ruth-ellenjohnson (MA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Geared for the professional, this book will round out basic knowledge and is very helpful.
My book arrived bent and rumpled just thrown in a box, unlike AMAZON'S usual great service.
After calling they did replace the book immediatly, the second book came shrink wrapped and packed properly.
These things happen and Amazon is great at rectifying them.
